Registration Problems with Credit Card Payments?

If you receive an error message when you are trying to register regarding credit card problems please contact your credit card company to ensure that you are not experiencing the following most common problems:

  1. 1) Some business credit cards may be restricted to certain expenses, such as travel or lodging, but restricted from other industry categories, such as retail. RegOnline falls into the 'online services vendor' industrial classification.
  2. 2) If an "International" attendee uses a credit card from another country, the cardholder should check if the card is authorized for charges in the United States.
  3. 3) Card holder has reached their overall credit limit or their daily limit.
  4. 4) Debit cards will only process when they have also been set up to be used as a credit card.  The online registration system is set up for debit cards.
  5. 5) The credit card may not be enabled for internet transactions.
  6. 6) The address on the card does not match the billing address submitted in the billing information of the registration.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please send an email to IADIRegistration@fdic.gov so that we may assist you.

Letters of Invitation – Visa Letters

Upon confirmation of your online conference registration, the FDIC will generate a letter of invitation for the event. The letter will include the participant information entered in the online registration (Name as it appears on passport, date of birth, job title, organization, address.) The letter will be sent to the email address specified in your online registration. (Hard copies of the letters will be mailed on an as needed basis only as required.) The letters will include the participant’s information, the purpose for the participant’s travel and detailed information about the Annual Conference and the Annual General Meeting. Please register online as early as possible as the information used to complete the visa letters will be taken directly from the online registration system.

A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States is required (unless country-specific agreements http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/104770.pdf provide exemptions). If more than one person is included in the passport, each person desiring a visa must make an application. The requirements for the accompanying spouses and children are the same as the actual conference attendee. They must follow the same application procedure as the principle conference attendee. However, they do not require an invitation letter from a U.S. source. Visa applications can be obtained at your nearest Embassy or Consulate of the United States of America. For visitor visa information, please visit: http://www.state.gov/travelandbusiness/

The IADI Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will also be a registered event with the U.S. State Department. The IADI Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will be posted on the U.S. State Department’s internal website. All U.S. Embassies and Consulates will have access to the details of the events as well as a listing of all participants. Your name and information will be registered with the U.S. State Department as soon as we receive your online registration. The sooner we receive the online registration, the sooner we are able to post information with the U.S. State Department.
